Nature Photo Journal #1
A change of Thanksgiving plans, slightly warmer weekend weather, and a whole corner of the state I’ve only driven through once … the sirens of the road and grasslands called.

The weekend was a study of clouds …
Geology …
And wide open spaces: vastness enough for the mind to wander and to escape the travails of the world. Even if for just a day …
Awesome, well done!
Now this is something I can be thankful for. What a nice surprise. You’re still out there wandering. I’m in here wondering. But I think I still owe you a beer. So, collect, please.
WOW! So nice to hear from you after SO long! Have you ever seen the “Roadside Geology” books? We loved to use them during our travels through Colorado, Wyoming and Utah. How might we reach you more directly? Let us know . . .
Al! Woah, it has been too long and that is most definitely on me. I have Roadside Geology for Colorado and Utah and love them as well. I also have a Naturalist Guide to the Southern Rockies which is spectacular. Email me at graywanderings@gmail.com and I can send you an updated number to call. Thanks for connecting!
Thanks, Kreg … great to hear from you and it would be wonderful to get that beer. 2021 when this whole thing subsides? I hope you are well!
